We have totally renovated our basement and created a cute 2-bedroom apartment with a comfortable living area, bathroom, full kitchen and a dining nook. The rooms are nicely sized, bright and have all that you might need to rest and study comfortably. The living room features two super comfy couches, big flat-screen TV with cable and X-Box 360, big coffee table, dining table, etc. You will also have a wireless internet connection throughout the apartment. The apartment has a separate entrance so you can come and go as you wish, as well as a private backyard so you can hang out/eat outside whenever you'd like to (wireless internet works outside too! - it's very much a favorite). The kitchen is stocked with everyday appliances (toaster, coffee maker, electric kettle, and microwave)Our housekeeper cleans the apartment so you can focus on studying, working and exploring Manhattan!
We provide accommodation in double and single rooms.
The Double – The perfect option for those who want to stay in a really pleasant room at a very affordable price. The room features two big study desks and plenty of shelves for your school papers. Two separate wardrobes, hampers, mirror, etc. are at your disposal. The bed is a modern bunk with built-in shelves for comfort. If you decide to stay in the double, you will be sharing your room with another one of our female American or foreign students. Homestay students, however, always have different schedules and are usually home at different times of day so you will still have plenty of your own space. Keep in mind that the living area is another place for you to spend time in. The rent is $450 per month.
The Single – The right choice for those who need privacy and peace or do not wish to be distracted at any time. The single is also more suitable for students who are residing in New York City long-term as it has a huge amount of closet space. In this room you will also find a comfortable armchair, mirror, bunk bed, etc. One of the bunks of the bed can be used as a day bed or for storage. Our previous tenants have come up with many ideas! Colorful artwork on the walls and cozy lamps create beautiful atmosphere to get you through the long winter evenings! (photos on the left) The rent is $675 per month.
The Single Deluxe– A quiet and a very private room. Located on the second floor and filled with light. Lots of closet space, comfy desk, queen sized bed, flat screen TV with cable, wireless Internet, mini bar with kettle, water filter, tea, coffee, soda etc. You will also enjoy the little additions like air purifier, fan, and mirror. The rent is $225 per week.
Rent includes family activities, wireless Internet, all utilities, as well as the use of washer and dryer, backyard and housekeeping. We are willing to negotiate the price depending on the duration of stay and date of move-in.
Iron and hair drier are also available upon request.
